We Totally ROCK!!
Staying Healthy During School Closing:
1. Find ways to get some activity
2. Make healthy food choices
3. Stay positive
HI! I am Loretta Morrison Midland Academy's Physical Education Teacher. I am in my 15th year of education and love every moment of it. For 16 years I chose to be a stay home mom. In 2008, I returned to the classroom and my greatest motivator is my students; they motivate me to be the very best possible teacher! I hope my love of activity and sport will motivate my students to strive for excellence in everything. Physical Education is a great place for exploration, to get involved in new activities, and to educate the whole child!
December 2012, I completed my M.ed. in Educational Leadership and would one day like to serve our school system in an administrative position. Along with my teaching responsibilities, I also served as the Athletic Specialist for Muscogee County School District. I have had the privilege of directing several different sports within our county such as Cross Country, Track and Field, Swim, and I worked closely with football. Muscogee County School District has some of the most talented athletes in the State of Georgia and I have had the privilege of watching many of these athletes move on to the collegiate level.
I enjoy every aspect of my job and believe physical activity is a vital component towards educating the total child.
